Irlen Syndrome, or Scotopic sensitivity as it is also known, is a visual perception problem. Often individuals with Irlen Syndrome are unable to see people or objects as a whole. Donna Williams is a best selling author who has also been diagnosed with Scotopic sensitivity. In her book 'Like Color to the Blind', she writes about her experiences and describes the life changing benefits of wearing Irlen lenses. She can now see faces, bodies and objects as a whole.
